Crimea is ready to accept refugees from Ukraine, Oleg Kryuchkov, an adviser to the region's head, told reporters Thursday.

"The entire Crimean infrastructure is ready to accept refugees from Ukraine," he said.

He also specified that the Ministry of Emergency Situations is deploying two refugee reception points in the town of Armyansk, and said that no cases of munitions flying into Crimea from the Ukrainian side have been recorded so far.

According to the Minister of Emergency Situations of the region Sergey Sadakliyev, there are currently no registered technogenic emergencies in Crimea. At the same time, there are calls to the 112 line from alarmed people. "The situation is under control. The only thing, those wishing to temporarily leave from Armyansk are being transported to the city of Krasnoperekopsk, to the building of the House of Culture," he added.
