A fifteen-year-old resident of the Minusinsk district was detained. According to preliminary data, in the spring, he planned a terrorist attack, studied the instructions for making explosive devices, found the necessary components and collected four bombs, which he stored in an uninhabited building. The security forces prevented the planned implementation.
"During the interrogation, the teenager fully admitted his guilt and repented of what he had done," the release says.
A criminal case was opened on preparation for a terrorist attack, training for the purpose of carrying out a terrorist attack, as well as on the illegal manufacture, storage and transport of explosive devices.
In the near future, the issue of choosing a preventive measure will be resolved.
Earlier it became known that the FSB detained 13 people who were preparing mass attacks in different regions, including on educational institutions.
In 2020, security forces prevented several armed attacks on schools and colleges — in Kostroma, Snezhinsk, Saratov, Kerch, Sakhalin, Krasnoyarsk, Tyumen region and Volgograd. All the detainees were under 20 years old.
