Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov has declared that it is comfortable for representatives of all religions to live in Russia.
Earlier head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov criticized president of France Emmanuel Macron for support of caricatures of prophet Muhammad. In his opinion, "supporting provocations", Macron "veiledly calls Muslims to commit crimes". Kadyrov called on Macron, "before it is too late, to stop provocations and attacks on faith".
"Today, representatives of all religions live comfortably in our country without any doubt. Every person, regardless of faith and nationality, feels like an equal citizen of the great country. We, Muslims, are grateful to the leadership of the state and, in particular, to Vladimir Putin for this," Kadyrov wrote on his personal page in the social network "VKontakte".
Kadyrov noted that in almost any country there are conflicts on the basis of religion, and only Russia is in order with this issue.
"For our part, it is the duty of each of us to show ourselves from the best side, to preserve our achievements and protect our native state. This is a responsible task for Muslims, too. We must not allow any extremist currents in our environment that cast a shadow on our religion, but strictly follow the prescriptions of the Holy Quran and the Sunna," the head of Chechnya stressed.
He added that Vladimir Putin's course is a pledge of strong and prosperous Russia. Kadyrov noted that any tasks would be solved together with the national leader.
On October 16, in France history teacher Samuel Patty was beheaded, and earlier during the lessons where the topic of freedom of speech was discussed, he demonstrated caricatures of prophet Muhammad. During the national ceremony of farewell to the teacher, Macron said that France would continue to defend freedom of speech and would not abandon the caricatures.
