More than 70 terrorist accomplices were detained in the North Caucasus in 2020

More than 20 members of terrorist cells were neutralized in the North Caucasus last year, and more than 70 bandit accomplices were detained, the Rosgvardia press service told RIA Novosti.


This information was announced at an interdepartmental service meeting on the results of the activities of the United Group of Forces to conduct counterterrorism operations in the North Caucasus region in 2020.


"In 2020, more than 20 members of terrorist cells were neutralized, more than 70 accomplices of bandits were detained, as well as more than 480 citizens on the wanted list. Soldiers and employees of the group discovered and destroyed more than 100 infrastructure facilities of the bandit underground," Vasily Fedoruk, the commander of the United Group of Forces, reported at the meeting.
