The Joint Group of Forces in the North Caucasus eliminated 250 militants from 2016 to 2021 with the participation of the Rosgvardiya, the press service of the Rosgvardiya told reporters.
"From 2016 to 2021, the Joint Group of Forces on the territory of the North Caucasus region of the Russian Federation conducted more than 4 thousand special operations, during which 250 militants were liquidated, 29 training bases of illegal armed groups, 193 camps of militants and 517 hideouts were discovered and destroyed," the message said.
Also during this period 4.5 thousand firearms, about 300,000 ammunition units and more than a ton of explosives were seized.
This information was prepared for the annual all-Russian informational and educational campaign "Together Against Terror" organized by the National Guard of Russia. During it, representatives of the department, together with state authorities, local authorities and public associations organize events for children and youth, dedicated to the memory of victims of terrorist attacks and soldiers killed in the fight against terrorism.
