Citizens who do not want to pass the coronavirus test will not be able to enter the territory of Chechnya through the airports of neighboring regions,

the head of the Republic Ramzan Kadyrov said at a meeting of the operational headquarter for countering the spread of coronavirus infection.

"We have recorded cases when people return to the Republic not directly, but through the airports of neighboring regions to avoid preventive procedures that are implemented in our airport. But in the future, we will not allow crossing our border until the epidemiological situation improves. The price is too high - we are talking about the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. And everyone should be aware of this!", the press service of the head and government of the region quotes Kadyrov.

According to the latest data, 22 cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in Chechnya, 15 people cured, and one died.
