Kadyrov: the situation with the coronavirus in Chechnya is under control

The situation with the coronavirus infection in Chechnya is under control, the head of the Republic Ramzan Kadyrov wrote on Twitter.


"The restrictive measures taken in time in the Chechen Republic today allow us to control the situation with the coronavirus infection. Moreover, the virus has become less aggressive, and this is encouraging," the message reads.


In Chechnya, according to the latest data, 409 cases of the coronavirus infection were detected, 23 people recovered, and six died.


Since March 30, the region has a temporary restriction on movement.


In Russia, a total of 87,147 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded. 7346 people recovered, 794 died.
