Mishustin arrived in Grozny, where he will tour social facilities and meet with Kadyrov

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has arrived in Grozny. During his visit, he will examine the progress of the construction of a remedial boarding school for children with intellectual disabilities and then visit the Republican Perinatal Center, where he is scheduled to talk briefly with doctors, and Grozny State Oil Technical University, where the Prime Minister will talk with students.


At the residence of the head of the Chechen Republic, Mishustin will hold a bilateral meeting with the head of the region, Ramzan Kadyrov. During his working trip, Mishustin will also visit the Akhmad Kadyrov Memorial Hall of Fame.


Mishustin will be accompanied in his trip to the region by Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev, who is in charge of social and economic development in the North Caucasus; Yury Chaika, Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasus; Maksim Reshetnikov, head of the MEDR; Mikhail Murashko, health minister; Valery Falkov, head of the Ministry of Education and Science; and Sergei Kravtsov, head of the Education Ministry.


This is Mishustin's second visit to the North Caucasus region. On April 14 he visited Dagestan. In addition, in February the head of the government visited Adygeya, which is part of the Southern Federal District.


In Dagestan, the Prime Minister, in particular, visited the central city hospital in Derbent, inspected a kindergarten under construction in a new district of Kaspiysk and visited the site where the new terminal of the Makhachkala airport is being built.
