Chechnya's Minister of Industry and Energy Adam Khakimov disclosed to journalists that Palestinian refugees residing in the Chechen Republic will be offered employment opportunities within the automotive and electrical appliance industries.
Khakimov highlighted the region's focus on the automotive and electrical sectors, leveraging advanced engineering programs available at Grozny State Petroleum Technical University. Palestinian refugees will have access to training programs to acquire necessary qualifications, following which they will be employed at local enterprises. The Chechenavto plant serves as a pivotal hub for the automotive industry in the area.
Previously, the Chechen authorities successfully integrated 30 refugees into various sectors. Presently, over 200 individuals from Palestine have sought refuge in the region, currently housed at the Gorny Klyuch children's health camp in the village of Avtury. Construction is underway to provide accommodations for them in Grozny, with five apartment buildings comprising 35 units being developed.
