Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed gratitude to Vice-President of the Akhmad Kadyrov Regional Public Foundation and Deputy Head of the Chechen President's Secretariat Medni Kadyrova for active community work. A decree to this effect was published on Monday on the official portal of legal information.
"For active public activities, to express the gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation to Medni Musayevna Kadyrova, the deputy head of the secretariat of the head of the Chechen Republic," the document reads.
Gratitude was also awarded to another vice president of the Foundation - Khava Isayeva.
In the 17 years of its existence, the Akhmad Kadyrov Regional Public Foundation has transferred several hundred tons of foodstuffs to the population of Somalia and Syria. It regularly provides material aid to the needy inhabitants of the Chechen Republic and other regions of the Russian Federation. In the period of restrictive measures in connection with the pandemic coronavirus, the charity has distributed over 2 million food packages, provided financial aid worth more than 1 billion rubles and bought 42 ambulances.
The Foundation is also engaged in the restoration and construction of social facilities in Chechnya, as well as mosques in different countries of the world.
