Putin congratulated residents of Chechnya on 100th anniversary

President Vladimir Putin has congratulated residents of Chechnya on the republic's 100th anniversary, noting in particular the valor and courage shown by Chechens during Russia's special military operation in Ukraine. The telegram was published Tuesday on the Kremlin website.


"Dear friends! I congratulate you on the remarkable date - the 100th anniversary of the Chechen Republic. You are rightly proud of your ancient, beautiful land - home of skilled craftsmen and fearless warriors, you cherish your distinctive culture, language and customs, you remain firmly committed to the high ideals of patriotism and honest serving the Fatherland bequeathed to you by your fathers and grandfathers," stressed the head of state. - "And today, during the special military operation, Chechen heroes show their valor and exceptional courage defending Russia together with their comrades in arms."


The president paid attention to the fact that in recent years the republic "has been consistently solving the serious tasks demanded by the time, aimed at the socio-economic development of the region, attracting investment, supporting entrepreneurial activity, and improving the quality of life of people." "I am convinced that hard work, care for the homeland, a sincere desire to contribute to its prosperity, mutual respect and agreement will continue to help you in implementing your plans in the interests of Chechnya and all of Russia," he said, wishing the people of the republic success and all the best.
