The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, in response to the statement of US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo on the introduction of visa sanctions, said that he "accepts the fight".
"Pompeo, we are taking the fight! It will be more interesting later!", Kadyrov wrote in Telegram.
Kadyrov also attached to the post a photo from the weapons locker, where he holds two hand-held machine guns.
The US State Department on Monday announced the inclusion of the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov in the blacklist of persons involved, according to the Department, in human rights violations. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo noted that Kadyrov's wife Medni Kadyrova and his daughters Aishat Kadyrova and Karina (Khadizhat) Kadyrova were also included to the list.
Slutsky linked the sanctions imposed on Kadyrov with his patriotic position
Russia will find a way to respond to the introduction of the" black list " of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov by the administration of the United States of America, said the Head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky.
"I do not think that US sanctions can affect the effectiveness of Kadyrov as the head of the Chechen Republic. Well, the principle of reciprocity has not been canceled. Russia will find a way to respond to this latest illegal decision of the State Department, " Slutsky told reporters.
The head of the State Duma Committee called another unfriendly step by the US administration to include the US in the" blacklist " of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, and added that charges of human rights violations must be proven in court.
"The introduction of personal US sanctions against the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, and members of his family is another unfriendly step of the US administration. The reason for including him in the black list completely unfounded. Kadyrov was and remains a patriot of Russia. Obviously, this fact is the real reason for restrictions, " Slutsky said.
According to him, the charges of involvement in human rights violations are serious enough and should be confirmed only in court. "Otherwise, such statements are slander against one of the most authoritative leaders of the Russian regions," the head of the Duma Committee said.
Klimov commented on Kadyrov's inclusion in the US blacklist
The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov has always actively expressed a personal point of view aimed at protecting the sovereign rights of the Russian state, for this position, politicians often find themselves on "blacklists", said Deputy Secretary of the General Council of United Russia, Deputy Chairman of the Federal Council Committee on International Affairs Andrey Klimov.
"He (Kadyrov - ed.) has always been very active in expressing his personal point of view. His point of view, public statements have always been aimed, in my opinion, at protecting the sovereign rights of our state," Klimov said.
Kadyrov's expression of a personal position "did not please everyone," Klimov said. But, according to him, it is important that the head of Chechnya always expressed his point of view. "They (the US State Department - ed.) quickly put people with such a position (in such lists - ed.)," Klimov concluded.
Kadyrov's daughter commented on the ban on entering the United States
The eldest daughter of the head of Chechnya, the head of the fashion house Firdaws Aishat Kadyrova expressed bewilderment at the inclusion of her in the American blacklist, saying that she "could not have imagined" this.
"I always believed that my modest moral support for my father remains unnoticed, and I could not imagine that I would become so famous in a distant country across the ocean that my name would be included in some of their lists," Kadyrova wrote on her Instagram page. According to her, this fact allowed her to once again make sure of the correctness of her actions.
"Always and in everything I was, am and will be my father's faithful assistant… I follow the exclusively correct path of Akhmat-Haji Kadyrov, and in the Ramzan Kadyrov's team, I am the happiest person, " she concluded.
Chechnya, urged the United States to "keep quiet about human rights"
The speaker of the Chechen Parliament, Magomed Daudov, called on American politicians to "keep quiet about human rights" in response to the blacklisting of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov.
"Apparently, Mr. (US Secretary of State Mike) Pompeo forgot about what country he represents. Against the background of events taking place in the United States and directly related to human rights violations, he, like other American politicians, should have kept quiet about "human rights". As they say, "they see the speck that is in someone's eye, but do not notice the log that is in their own eyes," Daudov wrote on Instagram.
According to him, in Chechnya, human and civil rights are elevated to the rank of priority state tasks, and the head of the Republic Ramzan Kadyrov is the guarantor of rights and freedoms.
"The Chechen people love their leader, value him and protect him. And save your sanctions for those who are really affected by them. Because we don't care about them," concluded Daudov.
Deputy Saraliev's assessment
The State Department of the United States of America has demonstrated its own impotence by deciding to impose sanctions against the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, and his family. The United States itself has not yet managed to stop numerous human rights violations on its territory, State Duma Deputy from the Chechen Republic Shamsail Saraliev.
"The US State Department has demonstrated lawlessness and its own weakness to the whole world by including in its sanctions lists family members of the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov-women and children who live their lives, do not violate anyone's rights and who do not care about any overseas sanctions," Saraliev said.
According to him, the sanctions imposed against Kadyrov and his family are a frank indicator of the powerlessness of the American authorities, "who in their own country can not cope with numerous human rights violations, create lawlessness, sponsor and cover up criminals."
"The Chechen Republic today is one of the safest Russian regions, any sane person has the ability to see this coming to the Republic of personally," - said Saraliev.
The parliamentarian stressed that such statements of the State Department were so ridiculous that they caused only pity.
"This is a clear indicator that the United States is not a legal state, the death agony of the country's authorities, in which they can not restore order. As they say, they see a speck in someone else's eye, but they don't notice a log in their own," Saraliev concluded.
