Putin signed a decree on national development goals until 2030

Vladimir Putin signed a decree "On Russia's national development goals for the period up to 2030", the Kremlin press service reported.


The President instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to allocate funds for the implementation of the document as a priority when forming the budget.


It sets out social goals:

 

  • increase life expectancy to 78 years;
  • reduce the poverty level by half compared to the indicator of 2017;
  • ensure stable growth of income and pensions not lower than inflation;
  • make Russia one of the top ten countries in terms of quality of education;
  • increase the percentage of Russians who regularly participate in sports to 70% ;
  • improve housing conditions for at least five million families every year.

 

Economic:

 

  • ensure GDP growth above the global average;
  • the real growth of investment in fixed assets should be at least 70% compared to the indicator of 2020;
  • the real growth of exports of non-resource non-energy goods should be at least 70% compared to the current year;
  • the number of entrepreneurs should increase to 25 million people.

 

Environmental:

 

  • ensure that 100% of waste is sorted and the amount of garbage taken to landfills is halved;
  • eliminate objects that are harmful to the environment of the Volga, lake Baikal, and lake Teletskoye.

 

The head of state instructed the government to submit a plan and adjust national projects to achieve national goals by October 30.


The decree defines the development of Russia in the coming decades and reflects changes to the Constitution, according to presidential aide Maxim Oreshkin.
