Bashkiria introduces " anti-covid passports"

18 January 2021

Bashkiria is introducing " anti-covid passports " - people who have antibodies to the coronavirus will receive them. This was announced by the head of the republic Radiy Khabirov at an operational meeting in the government.

" Those who have had the disease, have antibodies, and who have been vaccinated will have a passport. This solves a whole range of problems," he said, citing the example of older people.

According to Khabirov, this will be an incentive for the residents of the republic to get vaccinated. It will be possible to get a passport through the State Services Portal.

The head of the republic also noted that the anti-covid passports will help "fill the halls and more than the 30 percent prescribed."

"In short, people will gradually begin to return to normal life we all miss. The only exception is the mask regime. Even for the vaccinated it remains at least until the end of the year, masks must be worn, this is the norm established by the federal authorities," explained Khabirov on his page in the social network "VKontakte".

It is assumed that the anti-covid passport will be electronic, in the form of a special QR code, but if necessary, it can be shown with a phone or printed out. It is not necessary to submit documents to receive it - the code will be automatically formed by those who have had a vaccination or who have confirmed with a certificate having antibodies.

The project will be put to the test on January 29 and will be officially launched on February 5. During the year, viewers with anti-covid passports will receive a 30 percent discount on tickets to public cultural institutions, and halls will be able to fill up to 70 percent.
