A replacement minaret dome has been successfully installed on the Ar-Rahim mosque in Ufa, as per reports shared by the city's residents on social media. All four minarets now sport their domes. Ainur Birgalin, Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of Bashkortostan, announced the dome installation schedule in his Telegram channel, noting it was set for 7:30 Moscow time.
Earlier, on March 13, a gust of wind caused the previous dome to fall from the mosque's minaret. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the incident. The construction of the Ar-Rahim mosque in Ufa, which began in 2012, experienced a funding freeze in 2016. The mosque features minarets that stand at a height of 74 meters, and the overall building area spans approximately 25,000 square meters.
