Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to have a working meeting with Radiy Khabirov, the head of Bashkortostan, on April 9. The agenda for the meeting includes discussing the state of affairs in the region, as reported by presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Today, the president has a number of fairly routine working meetings and talks scheduled in the Kremlin. He will also receive the head of Bashkortostan, Khabirov, with a report," Peskov said, highlighting that Putin traditionally continues his work with the regions. "Khabirov will report on the state of affairs in the republic," Peskov specified, noting that Bashkortostan is one of the most important large regions of the country.

"Other meetings will already be non-public," the Kremlin spokesman added, referring to the working schedule of the head of state.
