The head of Bashkiria told about restrictions during the celebration of Eid al-Adha

The head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov said that during the celebration of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha in mosques in the region should be no more than 100 people to avoid the spread of the coronavirus infection.


"July, 31 marks a Muslim holiday-Eid al-Adha, a very favorite holiday. According to tradition, it is customary to gather and perform the rite of sacrifice. But taking into account the sanitary and epidemiological rules, we have consulted with our spiritual leaders on how to conduct it. Again, there are a number of standards for how to conduct it. This is one person per four square meters, and no more than 100 people in the mosque. I ask you to pay attention to this, " Khabirov said at an operational meeting of the government of Bashkortostan.


According to the Minister of Health of the region Maxim Zabelin, 6607 cases of the coronavirus infection were registered in the Republic on July 27, 4,845 of them recovered, 21 died.
