During the meeting, the Prime Minister of the region instructed the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic to "complete the development of the state program for the development of interregional and international cooperation". Dagestan cooperates with more than 60 foreign countries in the trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. According to 2019 data, Dagestan's foreign trade turnover exceeded $165 million, the main share of the region's exports is agricultural products, in particular, meat and meat offal and rice.
