One of the victims of the shooting in Nazran died in hospital, the number of victims of the incident has grown to four. This was reported to TASS on Tuesday in the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic.
"The patient, who was in an extremely serious condition, died," the Ministry said.
Earlier, a source in Ingushetia's law enforcement agencies told TASS that three people were killed in a shootout that took place in the Altievsky administrative district in Nazran.
"In Nazran, as a result of an argument, there was a fight that turned into a shootout, as a result of which three people were killed, including a police officer," the source said, adding that three more people were shot. One of the victims taken to the hospital was in extremely serious condition.
At the same time, a TASS source in medical circles said that there were four people injured in the shootout, not three. "Four [were] taken to the hospital, two [are] in the operating room and two are in intensive care," the source said.
According to preliminary data, the shooting occurred because of a land dispute.
