He made a great contribution to the stabilization of the situation related to the Ossetian-Georgian conflict of the 90s. Thanks to the active participation of the entire staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the zone of the Ossetian-Georgian conflict for many years, stability was maintained, security was provided, and everything necessary was done to strengthen peace and interethnic harmony," the message reads.
According to the press service, Sergey Shoigu provides serious assistance in the development of military infrastructure and military-patriotic education of the younger generation of North Ossetia. According to his personal instructions, a military hospital and a new complex of the North Caucasus Suvorov military school are being built in Vladikavkaz.
