On the initiative of the President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov a large-scale charity event ”Help is near!” ("Yardәm yanәshә!" in Tatar) takes place in Tatarstan.
“At the initiative of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, a large-scale charity event“ Yardәm yanәshә! Help is near! ” - delivery of grocery sets for 55 thousand families in difficult situations - has been launched in Tatarstan. Delivery of the first batch of grocery sets began in Kazan, Tukaevsky, Menzelinsky and Aktanyshsky districts of the republic”, - the press service of the government of the republic says.
As part of the action, 55 thousand people in need will receive food packages four times within two months. Thus, the total number of sets intended for Tatarstan residents is 220 thousand - this is 200 KamAZ trucks or 50 wagons. The set includes cereals, pasta, sunflower oil, canned food, tea, sugar and sweets.
The list of recipients of products is determined by the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of Tatarstan.
The largest group of recipients - 23 thousand people - are children over the age of 8 from families with per capita income below the subsistence level (8938 rubles).
More than 16 thousand single pensioners whose income is below the subsistence level (7311 rubles) and 9 thousand children whose parents are self-employed or registered as self-employed in the sectors most affected by the pandemic will also receive food packages.
In addition, assistance will go to families with a per capita income below the subsistence level, where one of the parents refuses to pay child support, and to families in socially dangerous situations.
Financial support for the project, as noted, is provided by Ak Bars Bank. Assistance is provided within the framework of the republican movement "Yardәm yanәshә!" Help is near! ”, created to provide comprehensive support to residents of the republic and uniting the leaders of large enterprises, business owners, social activists, volunteers, philanthropists and all concerned citizens.
