Kazan will host the International Youth Science Congress of OIC Countries

The International Youth Science Congress of OIC countries will take place in Kazan from 21 to 25 November.


This the first time the Congress has been held in this format and will last for 5 days. It will consist of a plenary session, round tables, interactive seminars and a cultural program. The Congress will open with a plenary session, following by a round table discussion on ‘Support to Young Scientists of OIC Countries’. In addition to it, there will be 4 round table discussions (25 participants in each). The aim of them is to provide the participants with an opportunity to discuss scientific research in such fields as urbanism, modern technologies in education, oil and gas technologies, modern medical research, as well as to share their own experience and encourage delegates to further cooperate in scientific, technological and innovative development of science on specific topics. The outcome of the Science Congress will be the publication of scientific papers in a scientific journal.


The main agenda of the Congress: expanding the scientific cooperation between Russia and OIC regions. The Congress will focus of the following topics: urbanism, modern technologies in education, oil and gas technologies and modern medical research.


The Congress will be attended by 100 delegates from 56 OIC member countries and observer states (young scholars, researchers, innovators and academics from the Russian Federation and OIC countries, aged 18-35).


The event will be held in the English language.


The Science Congress of OIC Countries will enable the involvement of participants from Russia and OIC countries in the development of science among young people, which in the future may lead to successes in scientific, technological and innovative development of science, including our country.


Applications for Russian citizens will be accepted until 14 October on the website.


Applications will be selected by an international jury that includes Nobel laureates.
