President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a telephone conversation with King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa al Khalifa.
According to the press service of the President of Tatarstan, the conversation was held on the initiative of the Bahraini side.
The King of Bahrain asked to convey his greetings and best wishes to the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Addressing Rustam Minnikhanov, Hamad bin Isa al Khalifa said that he was paying special attention to the epidemiological situation in Tatarstan due to new coronavirus infection. The King expressed his support to Rustam Minnikhanov and all residents of the Republic at this difficult time, wishing the situation to normalize as soon as possible.
Rustam Minnikhanov, in turn, thanked the King of Bahrain for his care.
The parties expressed hope for further cooperation and mutual direct contacts as soon as the global epidemiological situation allows.
