Libya is interested in purchasing of agricultural products from Russia, the first test batch of flour in the amount of 100 thousand tons will be shipped after May 11, the Libyan Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Mohammed Magrawi, said  TASS during a working visit to Yekaterinburg.

"Recently we have been actively negotiating on grain and flour, I am involved in these talks. A test shipment of flour will be sent to Libya after May 11. The Russian companies are different, but the ones that are being negotiated with now are 100,000 tons. This is considered a large consignment and causes logistical difficulties, because after the sanctions it became difficult to supply goods," he said.

The ambassador noted that the volume of flour in the application is about 350 thousand tons. After the trial batch, the Libyan authorities intend to organize a meeting for business representatives in the country, where they will discuss options for the assortment of supplies.
