Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin presented President Vladimir Putin a plan to restore the Russian economy from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
The document, according to RIA Novosti, consists of 500 points and is designed for two years. It is intended to allocate five trillion rubles for its implementation.
The plan consists of three stages. By the end of the third quarter of this year, the situation should stabilize, and the population's income shouldn't continue to fall.
By the end of the second quarter of 2021, the authorities intend to reduce unemployment in the country, and income should grow to the level of 2019.
In the second half of 2021, the Russian economy should achieve sustainable growth.
It follows from the document that unemployment by the end of 2021 will be no more than 5%.
The plan describes measures to support small businesses and the population, as well as offers for the development of long-term financial instruments.
Putin approved the proposed measures and praised the government for its work.
"The strategic goal of such a national action plan is not only to stabilize the situation, without which, of course, it is impossible to move forward but most importantly - to support citizens, businesses at the exit stage, this is important, of course," he said.
The authorities will start implementing the plan in July.
