Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated in a greeting message to the participants of the Tehran Expo-Russia Iran business forum that Russian-Iranian relations can be considered as strategic.
"Today, Russian-Iranian relations, rooted in the strong traditions of friendship and good neighborliness, rightfully hold a strategic status. We maintain a consistent and trustworthy dialogue at the highest levels, fostering robust cooperation across governments, parliaments, ministries, agencies, regions, and within business circles," Lavrov emphasized.
The head of the Russian diplomatic department emphasized that after many years of successful cooperation, Russia and Iran have built a substantial foundation for positive relations. This foundation enables both nations to bolster their positions within the evolving global economic landscape. Lavrov underlined the significance of the business forum being held in the Iranian capital, stating that it is a pivotal event for advancing bilateral collaboration in various key sectors, including industry, trade, investment, transportation, energy, science, technology, and more.
