Putin Offers Condolences to Families and Friends of Those Killed in Dagestan

Russian President Vladimir Putin has conveyed his condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the tragedy in Dagestan. He also expressed his wishes for a swift recovery for the injured, as reported by the Kremlin press service.

 

"President Putin extends his heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives in the Dagestan tragedy. He also wishes a swift recovery to those who were injured," stated the press service.

 

 

On Monday evening, an explosion took place in front of a gas station in Makhachkala, followed by a fire. The Regional Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case under Part 3 Article 238 of the Russian Federation's Criminal Code (provision of services that disregard safety requirements for life or health of consumers, leading to the death of two or more individuals due to negligence). Updated information indicates that 105 individuals were affected by the incident, with a tragic loss of 30 lives.
