The Federal Security Service detained a teenager who was preparing an armed attack on an educational institution, a citizen of Ukraine had induced him to the crime. This was reported to TASS on Tuesday by the Center for Public Relations (CPR) of the FSB.
"The Federal Security Service in Kazan prevented an armed attack on an educational institution. As a result of the measures taken, a minor Russian citizen involved in the preparation of this crime was detained," the CPR indicated. The FSB stressed that, according to the detainee, "he was persuaded to commit the mass murder by a Telegram messenger user, certain Ovsyuk Yaroslav, who lives in Ukraine".
At the place of residence of the minor an air rifle, as well as communication tools containing searches for the conversion of this type of weapon into a weapon, materials about armed attacks on educational institutions were seized.
As the FSB reported, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan initiated criminal proceedings against the detainee under part 1 of Article 30, part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("Preparation for murder of two or more persons").
