North Caucasus Federal University to Organize Student Camp in Algeria in 2025

20 November

The North Caucasus Federal University (NCFU) plans to host an international summer camp for students in Algeria in 2025, focusing on Russian and Arabic language studies, according to the university's press office.

The camp, dedicated to international relations, will feature courses for learning Russian and Arabic, including a "Literary Lounge" program designed for beginners in Russian language studies.

A recent NCFU delegation visit to Algeria marked the launch of the "Young Leader School," a program aimed at enhancing project and management skills for over 60 Algerian youth participants.

For years, NCFU has been actively engaged in international educational initiatives. The university’s rector, Dmitry Bespalov, highlighted the significance of such projects, stating they help participants develop leadership skills and build successful career paths.

During the visit, Bespalov held discussions with Algeria’s Minister of Religious Affairs and Culture, Mohamed al-Husseini, and the rector of University of Algiers, Fares Mokhtari. The talks included plans to submit a joint grant proposal for collaborative scientific research in Africa’s oil and gas sector.
