Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu emphasized that the Asian region, with its vast economic and human potential, cultural diversity and technological advancements, serves as a beacon of hope and opportunity in the interconnected world. He made these remarks during the Central Asian Forum on Security and Cooperation, focusing on the theme "Asia in the Changing World: Agenda for the Future."
Nurtleu highlighted the growing role of Central Asia as a source of stability on the continent. "Kazakhstan will continue to adopt an active and mutually beneficial approach to the region's development in the face of emerging challenges and opportunities," he stated.
The two-day forum, held in Astana, features the participation of Vladimir Voronkov, the Under-Secretary-General for the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, among others.
