Lavrov and Kazakh foreign minister discuss bilateral cooperation and upcoming contacts

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi discussed by telephone on Thursday bilateral interaction as a follow-up to agreements reached earlier at the highest and highest levels, and the schedule for upcoming contacts.


"The foreign ministers exchanged views on key aspects of bilateral interaction as a follow-up to the agreements reached as a result of the recent summit and high-level talks, discussed the schedule of upcoming bilateral contacts and preparations for the celebration in 2022 of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The ministers noted with satisfaction the progressive development of the multifaceted Russian-Kazakh strategic partnership and alliance," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.


The conversation took place at the initiative of the Kazakhstani side.
