Mishustin Holds Talks with Pezeshkian

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is holding negotiations with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

 

Pezeshkian arrived in Russia on Friday for an official visit.


On the Russian side, the talks include Deputy Prime Ministers Alexey Overchuk and Vitaly Savelyev, Russian Ambassador to Iran Alexey Dedov, Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut, Minister of Transport Roman Starovoit, Minister of Energy and Chairman of the Russian section of the Permanent Russia-Iran Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation Sergey Tsivilev, CEO of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov, Rosatom Director General Alexey Likhachev, and others.

 

The Iranian delegation includes Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali, Minister of Oil and Chairman of the Iranian section of the Permanent Russia-Iran Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation Mohsen Paknejad, Minister of Energy Abbas Aliabadi, Minister of Roads and Urban Development Farzaneh Sadegh Malvajerd, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Abdolnaser Hemmati, Minister of Agricultural Jihad Gholamreza Nouri Ghazaljeh, Central Bank of Iran Governor Mohammad Reza Farzin, and others.

 

 

Upcoming Agenda

 

Following his meeting with the Russian prime minister, Pezeshkian is set to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The two presidents will sign the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement.
