The next round of inter-Syrian talks in the Astana format will be held in the capital of Kazakhstan until December 10, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Vershinin said.
"We are seriously preparing for this meeting, which promises to be at the end of the first decade of December. The first decade ends on December 10, " he said, in particular.
The previous 13th international high-level meeting on Syria was held in the capital of Kazakhstan on August 1-2. The talks were attended by delegations of the guarantor countries (Russia, Iran, Turkey), as well as the Syrian government and the Syrian armed opposition. Representatives of the UN, Jordan, and for the first time - Lebanon and Iraq - were invited as observers.
