In Moscow, with the support of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Institute of Oriental studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences organized an international round table on the Russian Concept of collective security in the Persian Gulf.
According to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the event, was attended by more than 30 experts from the Arab countries, Iran, Great Britain, France, China, as well as the International Crisis Group.
The participants expressed concern about the escalation of tensions in the Persian Gulf, as well as the desire to find constructive solutions to existing contradictions.
They also stressed the need to create a neutral platform to continue multilateral discussions on ways to prevent the development of the situation in dangerous scenarios.
