During the talks in Bukhara, the working groups of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan considered the preparation of a joint Uzbek-Turkmen intergovernmental commission on delimitation and demarcation of the state border, the press service of the MFA of Uzbekistan reported on Monday.
"During the talks, the sides considered the preparation for a joint meeting of the intergovernmental commission on delimitation and demarcation of the state border between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. In particular, draft regulations and technical documents of the Uzbek-Turkmen state border demarcation have been finalized and agreed upon," the press service said.
According to the press service, the participants also agreed on a schedule of working group meetings in 2023 and signed a protocol.
