Russian Presidential Special Envoy for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and UAE Ambassador to Moscow Mohammed Ahmed al-Jaber held discussions on the settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the situation in the Red Sea region.
"During the exchange of views on Middle East issues, priority attention was given to the tasks of resolving the situation in the zone of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, as well as the situation in Sudan and in the Red Sea area," the Russian Foreign Ministry stated in a press release following the meeting, which was held at the request of the UAE ambassador.
The Russian Foreign Ministry added that the two sides also discussed topical issues concerning "further strengthening of the strategic partnership relations between Russia and the UAE."
