Today, on May 26 in Kazan, the working part of the annual meeting of Group of strategic vision "Russia-Islamic World" has been opened.
Program for participants and guests of the forum will begin with a tour of the Bulgarian Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve, which is the world’s northernmost medieval monument of Muslim architecture, the unique and the only model of the Bulgarian-Tatar architecture of the mid XIII-XIV centuries.
The working meeting of Group of strategic vision “Russia – Islamic world” will be held today. A state adviser of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, who is one of the founders of the Group, will take part in it. The meeting will be held at the Bulgarian Academy of Islam in the conference hall “The memorial sign.”
Pressing issues and problems of international relations and information policy in the fight against international terrorism will be discussed during the event.
At the end of the working day a gala reception in honor of participants of Group of strategic vision “Russia – Islamic world” will be arranged at the Cannon yard of Kazan Kremlin.
The working part of the meeting will last until 28 May.
