It is noted that the means of protection will be distributed to medical institutions of the Republic.

As TASS reported earlier, an agreement to provide assistance in the fight against the coronavirus to the regions of the North Caucasus was reached during a telephone conversation between the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. The first flight from the UAE with medical aid for Chechnya arrived in Grozny on June 1, and on June 3, the plane delivered the cargo to Dagestan. Then other regions of the North Caucasus Federal district received humanitarian assistance. Each region received kits that include anti-plague coveralls, personal protective equipment, and coronavirus tests.

In Dagestan, a self-isolation regime has been in effect since March 31, and a mask regime has been introduced in most districts. The head of the Republic, Vladimir Vasiliev, in his speech at the session of the regional Parliament on June 25, said that the expenses aimed at fighting the coronavirus infection in Dagestan amounted to 4.8 billion rubles. According to the regional headquarters, as of August 6, 9,517 cases of infection were registered in Dagestan, including 42 in the last day, 8,551 people recovered, and 449 died.
