05 October 2023

Aeroflot will be increasing the frequency of its flights from Moscow to Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada, as announced by the airline's press service.

"Aeroflot is increasing the frequency of flights from Moscow to Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada. Starting from October 6, new flights will be added on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays in addition to the daily flights from Sheremetyevo airport to Sharm el-Sheikh. From October 7, the airline will operate additional flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, complementing the daily flights from Moscow to Hurghada. This means that in the fall-winter schedule, Aeroflot will offer up to 11 weekly flights to Sharm el-Sheikh and up to 10 flights a week to Hurghada," the statement read.

The press service also noted that these new flight frequencies are aimed at meeting the rising seasonal demand for flights to the Red Sea resorts.

Aeroflot resumed regular flights to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh in October of last year.
