Azerbaijan exceeded its obligations under the OPEC+ deal in January 2022, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reported on Wednesday.
"Daily oil production in Azerbaijan in January was 580.9 thousand barrels. According to the OPEC+ deal, the country's quota for January was 661,000 barrels per day, while production reduction commitments were 57,000 barrels. Thus, in January Azerbaijan exceeded its obligations under the OPEC+ deal," the press service said.
According to the ministry, together with condensate daily production in January was 700.5 thousand barrels (condensate share - 119.6 thousand bpd).
Under the terms of the OPEC+ deal, Azerbaijan's quota for February is 668 thousand bpd, for March - 675 thousand bpd.
