Customers in Southeast Asia and the Middle East are showing interest in Russian electric-powered vessels, the press service of Sitronics Group told TASS.
"Our electric vessels are the embodiment of the world's advanced technologies. Not only Russian, but also foreign customers, for example from Southeast Asia and the Middle East, show interest in them. So we are getting ready to increase production capacity and considering the options of contract assembly locally", said CEO of Sitronics Electro Andrey Gurlenov, who was quoted by the press service of the company.
At the end of 2022, the Russian manufacturer of electric vessels Emperium reported that together with the investment company of Vietnam they are working on production and sale of vessels in this country. Halong Bay in Vietnam is considered as the water area of the first pilot project, the company noted.
