A delegation of the Afghanistan chamber of commerce and industry will participate in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Zamir Kabulov, the Russian President's Special Representative for Afghanistan and Director of the Second Asia Department of the Foreign Ministry, told TASS on Tuesday.
"There will be a delegation from the Afghanistan chamber of commerce," he said.
Earlier, a diplomatic source told TASS that Jamal Nasir Garval, Afghanistan's chargé d'affaires in Moscow appointed by the interim Taliban government (the Taliban movement is banned in Russia), will attend the SPIEF.
The 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held on June 15-18.
