Egypt Believes BRICS Membership Promotes Economic Reforms

17 June

Membership in BRICS is facilitating the advancement of economic reforms in Egypt, stated Abdel Wahab Abdel Razek, Chairman of the Senate of Egypt and leader of the "Future of the Nation" party.

“The BRICS+ group demonstrates the fastest economic growth. The economies of the group represent about 32% of the world's GDP. Egypt’s entry into BRICS has become a kind of confirmation of the reliability of the strong economic and political relations between Egypt and the countries of the bloc,” he said in a video message to the participants of the plenary session of the international interparty forum in the "BRICS and Partner Countries" format, themed "The World Majority for a Multipolar World."

“Joining BRICS promotes the reforms that have occurred in Egypt in recent years in the economic and investment sectors,” the speaker added.
