Erdogan praised Tatarstan's success in producing halal goods in his KazanSummit address

Turkey notes the success of Tatarstan in the production of high quality halal products. This was stated in the greeting of Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, which was read on Thursday by his chief advisor Mujahit Kucukılmaz at the plenary session of the economic summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021".


"Turkey is making very great efforts to standardize high quality products, especially halal. We believe the efforts made by Tatarstan [in this area], especially KazanSummit - it is worth mentioning them separately and thanking for them," the Turkish President said in his greeting.


Erdogan also underlined that Turkey and Russia have economic and friendly ties and therefore Ankara attaches special importance to the economic summit taking place in Kazan.


The XII International Economic Summit Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021 will continue until July 30th. Representatives of 61 countries and 38 regions of Russia are taking part. The summit is aimed at developing cooperation and maintaining a dialogue between Russia and the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in the economic, political and cultural spheres.
