Gazprom supplied 20.3 billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey between January and September 19, 2021, which is 2.5 times more than in 2020, the holding company said.
"This is a historically record volume for this period," the statement said.
The issue of gas supplies was discussed at a meeting between Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller and Turkish energy and natural resources minister Fatih Donmez. "The parties praised the work of the Blue Stream and Turkish Stream gas pipelines, which reliably transport Russian gas across the Black Sea to consumers," the statement said.
