Kazakhstan's GDP grew by 3.5% in the first two months of 2022. This was reported at a government meeting on Tuesday by Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov.
"In January-February this year, the growth rate of Kazakhstan's economy accelerated to 3.5%. During the reporting period there was an acceleration of growth in the real sector, recovery of growth in trade and communications after the fall in January," he said.
Last year the country's GDP growth amounted to 4%. In 2020, this indicator decreased by 2.6%, while a year earlier it had grown by 4.5%.
