Kazakhstan and Tajikistan will increase the number of flights between Almaty and Dushanbe

Air Astana (Kazakhstan) and Somon Air (Tajikistan) plan to increase the number of passenger flights between Almaty and Dushanbe in April-May. This was reported on Wednesday by the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan.


"As a result of joint work with the aviation authorities of Tajikistan, the number of regular passenger flights between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan is increasing. Thus, the Tajik airline Somon Air, beginning from April 25, 2022, plans to increase the number of international flights from Dushanbe to Almaty from one to two flights a week by aircraft type B737," the report said.


In addition, the Kazakhstan's airline company Air Astana plans to increase the number of flights between the cities of Dushanbe and Almaty from one to three flights a week from May 1 and from three to four flights a week on aircraft type A320 from June 1. Thus, the total number of flights between the countries will reach six per week. They will be operated with strict observance of sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
