Meeting of EEU leaders to be held in May 2022

Meetings of the heads of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member states will be held in May this year in Kyrgyzstan. This was announced by the head of the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers, Akylbek Zhaparov, at a press conference in Bishkek on Tuesday.


"The meeting of the Council of the Heads of the EEU member-states will be held in our republic this May," he said.


Zhaparov suggested that the summit could take place on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul.


The EEU consists of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
