Mishustin discussed economic cooperation and integration into EEU with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin held a telephone conversation with Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov, during which the paries discussed economic cooperation and integration in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). This was reported on Tuesday by the press service of the Russian cabinet.


"As a follow-up to the May 30, 2022 talks in Moscow, the heads of government continued discussing topical issues of Russian-Kazakh trade and economic cooperation. The main attention was paid to cooperation in energy, agriculture, investment and transport spheres, as well as in education," the message reads.


As indicated in the Russian cabinet of ministers, Mishustin and Smailov also noted the importance of joint work of Russia and Kazakhstan to deepen integration in the EEU.
