Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has announced that Russian exports to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) have doubled since the union's creation.
“To date, Russian exports to the countries of the union have doubled since its creation,” Mishustin stated in an interview with Rossiya-24, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the EAEU.
The prime minister highlighted that Russia now trades more sophisticated products with EAEU member states. “For example, at the end of last year, the share of machinery, equipment, and vehicles in our trade turnover with them amounted to almost a quarter,” Mishustin added. He also noted that Russian companies are undertaking large-scale investment projects in various sectors, including energy, industry, and transportation.
